ADHD Therapy

If your child is struggling with executive functioning difficulties or has been diagnosed with attention deficit disorder (any type) and you are looking for weekly or bi-weekly support, then this is the right place for you. Play is the language of children and I engage in therapeutic services for them through the lens of play. This can look different for children with neurodiversity however we still learn skills through play.  For many neurodiverse children, virtual therapy is best for them as they love the electronic engagement and are very involved in sessions. In person sessions are also available.

What does attention deficit disorder therapy look like?

Therapeutic services are usually fifty minutes long and are engaged in on a weekly or biweekly basis. I am trained to see children 0-5 and 6-19 years old that are struggling with a large range of clinical difficulties. My therapeutic framework is based in play as play is the language of children. I work from multiple frameworks to support children to gain the skills needed for them to thrive. We will work on executive functioning, emotional control, impulsivity, relationships and more. I work from a positive lens as I believe we all have neurodiverse brains meaning each one of us has a unique way of viewing the world and that is what makes the world beautiful.

How can attention deficit disorder therapy help you?

I am a firm believer that everyone can benefit from a non-judgmental person as a support in their life. I am also a believer that attention deficit disorder is a superpower that is often misunderstood or mismanaged. Together we can support your child in growth while also supporting you in your relationship with them. It is important for you to know I work from a positive framework.
